James Robertson

Campaigner for Fovant & Chalke Valley

James Robertson

James and Beth came to Salisbury in 1974 and brought their family here. They come from families with a strong public service background, especially in health and care and both their families served in the war in the Army and /or Navy and firefighting and Police.

James and Beth, both medics, have served as Hospital Governors and James as a primary school governor. Both have raised money for our local Hospital. James served on Laverstock Neighbourhood planning Group and helped establish the Community Farm when he served on the last Salisbury District Council as portfolio holder for the environment. He was also elected for the city on two other occasions.

He is proud to have served with Liberals and will work with all political colleagues to improve the dire state of local government, mainly due to centralising Whitehall/government conservative politicians.
