Manifesto for 2021 launched

This manifesto sets out the Liberal Democrats’ programme to transform Wiltshire for the benefit of its residents and its environment.

Over the past decade, the Conservatives have cut the services that Wiltshire Council offers its residents, virtually destroying the youth service for example. At such a turbulent time, with both COVID-19 and the Climate and ecological emergency offering unprecedented challenges, the council needs more courage and vision to take on the challenges of the future and do better for its residents.

Services that councils like Wiltshire provide are more vital than ever in times like these: from care and housing to transport, mental health support and youth services.

We are asking the voters of Wiltshire to give the Liberal Democrats the chance to take a new approach, working with all of you to make this county a national leader in how to run a council for its people’s benefit.
