Valentia Milos for St Edmunds
On Thursday 13th November, St Edmunds residents will go to the polls to choose a new City Councillor, who will work alongside Cllr Paul Sample and Cllr Sam Foster.
Salisbury welcomed Valentina Milos and her husband over a decade ago. The couple felt immediately embraced by the city's kind and friendly community, and it's where they started their family.
The experiences of becoming a parent and becoming part of a strong neighbourhood community have cemented Valentina's place as a local resident and inspired her to give back to her community.
Being part of this beautiful community has made me think about how can I give something back.
Valentina Milos
Inspired by her family's history of advocating for disability rights in her home country, Valentina understands the importance of community action and standing up for what is important.
Valentina is determined to work alongside residents to address the issues that matter most to them, from improving local services to protecting our environment. She believes that by working together, we can build an even stronger and more vibrant Salisbury for all.
Back Valentina Milos and the Liberal Democrat plan for Salisbury
1️⃣ Protecting Our Environment
The Lib Dems are committed to a Greener Salisbury. Building on our success expanding recycling, switching to electric vehicles, and banning harmful chemicals, we'll champion sustainable practices across the city, and protect our environment for future generations.
2️⃣ Protecting Your Money
We champion responsible spending and local control. We secured a new council depot for long-term savings and brought grounds services back in-house, improving efficiency, coordination, and generating revenue to benefit Salisbury residents.
3️⃣ Preserving Our Heritage
We'll continue supporting Salisbury’s wonderful creative and supportive organisations and volunteers. Unlike the previous Conservative administrations, who have neglected our city, we’re committed to preserving and restoring our heritage, like the Poultry Cross and Guildhall.
