Peter Edge

Peter Edge was born and grew up in Wilton. He has lived in his current house with his wife Pam since 1985. They have 3 adult children, one of whom lives in Quidhampton.

Peter served at Wilton Fire Station for over 25 years and has represented Wilton as a Town, District and Unitary Councillor since 1985. He is currently the President of Wilton Rotary. He has served as Mayor of Wilton twice and has been a keen advocate of making Wilton a Green Town and is concerned about nature and the Climate disaster the world is heading in.

Peter is a founder member of the Wilton Community Land Trust and has helped pioneer the development at the former UKLF site as well as the proposed Wilton/Stonehenge Parkway Rail Station.

Peter has always been an advocate of linking Wilton, Quidhampton and Netherhampton with a safe cycle/footpath.

The latest project Peter is driving is the formation of a Wilton Mens Shed to promote wellbeing for men and veterans in the area.
