Peter Edge

Peter Edge was born and grew up in Wilton. He has lived in his current house with his wife Pam since 1985. They have 3 adult children, one of them living in Quidhampton.

Peter served at Wilton Fire Station for over 25 years and has represented Wilton as a Town, District and Unitary Councillor since 1985. He is currently the Fundraising Chairman of Wilton Rotary. He has served as Mayor of Wilton twice and has been a keen advocate of making Wilton a Green Town and is concerned about nature and the Climate disaster the world is heading in.

Peter is a founder member of the Wilton Community Land Trust and has helped pioneer the development at the former UKLF site as well as the proposed Sunrise project at Fugglestone St Peters Church.

Peter has always been an advocate of linking Wilton, Quidhampton and Netherhampton with a safe cycle/footpath as a cyclist himself.

Peter set up and built the successful Wilton Mens Shed to promote wellbeing primarily for men and veterans in the area.
