Mac and Lawrence for Milford
With years of experience looking after Salisbury residents, Mac Brown is now throwing his hat into the ring to be the next Wiltshire councillor for Milford.
Mac works as a social and healthcare management specialist, and he is dedicated to improving the life experience of residents and their families in Salisbury.
As a Salisbury City Councillor, he already understands the challenges many in our community face.
Mac says: “I want to see justice for Salisbury which to me means as many decisions as possible about Salisbury being made here in Salisbury and a fairer deal on issues like the price of car parking.”
As an active member of the planning committee, Mac has been closely involved in protecting the city’s social and physical infrastructure from the pressures of over‑development.
This by-election will be close between hard-working Lib Dems and chaos and decline with the Conservatives and Reform UK.
Our Priorities for Milford
- SAFER ROADS. Too many roads in Milford are used as 'rat runs', with residents experiencing speeding, congestion and damage to cars. Mac and Lawrence will push Wiltshire Council to work with residents to find creative solutions to the problems in streets such as Rampart Road, Milford Mill Road, Wain-A-Long Road and the surrounding areas.
- ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR. Mac and Lawrence will work to ensure that residents' voices are heard and that there is a joined-up approach to tackling anti-social behaviour involving the police, both councils and social housing providers. They will also champion positive solutions such as rebuilding our youth services.
- AFFORDABLE HOUSING. Mac will work with the Lib Dems to ensure residents' voices are heard during the development of the new local plan. Any expansion of housing must ensure local needs for affordable housing are met and environmental concerns are taken into account

Only the Liberal Democrats can beat the Conservatives

- The Lib Dems lead both Wiltshire and Salisbury City Councils
