Salisbury Liberal Democrats invite you to join them for their summer social.

Precipice is Robert Harris’ bestselling novel, telling the story of the love affair between the Prime Minister H. H. Asquith and Venetia Stanley at the outbreak of the First World War.

Jane Bonham Carter is Asquith's great granddaughter, and allowed author Robert Harris access to family papers in his research for the bestseller.

Join us to hear more about what happens when world history and family stories combine in the pages of a bestselling novel.

The evening will continue with a chance to discuss the topic further over refreshments and mingle with other attendees and our hosts.

Tickets are £15 and include drinks and light refreshments.
