The Liberal Democrats in Salisbury are celebrating a resounding victory following the St Edmunds by-election, where candidate Valentina Milos was elected as the new City Councillor.
An MRP poll by YouGov, and reported by The Times and the BBC, predicts that the Conservatives would lose the Salisbury parliamentary seat to the Liberal Democrats if an election were held today.
Wiltshire Council has confirmed the appointment of Cllr Ian Thorn as its new Leader.
